backwoodscreek.co.uk Heartland, Country, Rock? Call them whatever you want them to be. From the heart of London, Backwoods Creek bring something most others shy away from. Unashamedly ready to make you sing, laugh and cry, this quintet is picking up the pieces and putting them back together, one show at a time. Starting out in late 2016, The Creek have been blazing their own unique trail playing shows ranging from a sold out night at The Jazz Cafe, to the Teddy Rocks Festival, to multiple performances at AEG’s Country2Country Festival.

2018 saw The Creek Boys release 2 top 5 charting singles, ‘Keep Off The Grass’ & ‘When I Grow Up’, the latter winning BCMA’s video of the year award; only to follow up with their debut EP ‘It’s About Time’, the band are well on their way to world domination. Make sure to get yourself to see them, you’ll definitely feel it in the morning!

Zoe Newton www.zoenewton.bandcamp.com Zoe is an acoustic singer/songwriter, performing original songs with one or two covers mixed in. Inspired by Country music greats Dolly Parton and Kacey Musgraves and celebrated singer/songwriters such as Joni Mitchell and Taylor Swift, Zoe has used songwriting as a way to express her emotions and thoughts from a young age using only lyrics and a guitar, making her performance very intimate.

Zoe has been performing for 6 years, including performances at the Komedia (Bath), The Fleece (Bristol), BocaBar (Glastonbury), Victoria Hall (Radstock), Bradford Roots Festival, Bath International Music Festival, CalneFest, BBC6 Fringe Festival (Bristol), had a live performance and interview on BBC Radio Wiltshire, ad supported Aston Merrygold at the Cheese and Grain.

We aim to take you on a “musical memory tour” & get you up “dancing” so come along & join us!
